Due to the inability of the New York Knicks to get an insurance policy on the $99,700,000.00 contract that they bestowed on the power forward, Amar’e will not be eligible to participate in the basketball World Championships. This is a travesty for the USA Basketball Team, and be sure that it will have an effect on the the teams ability to be successful in their quest to win the Worlds Championship.

The fact that he is an important part of this team, the NBA should step in and remedy this opportunity. After all, it it really that the Knicks can’t insure this player? Or is it that they refuse to pay the dollars necessary to insure this player?
