Cliff Lee was the man, he threw the ball with excellent velocity, he played excellent defense and helped his cause, as it applies to the win. The guy had a great outing, he made the catch of all catches at the mound. He did his job. Now, Mr. Pedro has it where he wants it, no pressure, just pitch, take care of business, and that doesn’t give the Yankees a good position to be in with the second game on the horizon. A-Rod has to show up. Teixeira has to show up, Damon has to show up, Jeter has to lead off and put these guys in position to win. Jeter, don’t get me wrong, did a good job, but he has to get it done again, and hope that the Yanks follow his lead. Howard, for the Phillies, will be pumped up, so, the Yanks better be ready.
