November 6, and 7th, will be one of the horse racing industry most prosperous days. They will have more wagers that day, than some tracks return in revenue in a month. The Breeders Cup this year won’t be affected by the so-called depression, recession, or whatever the media says it is tomorrow. The Breeders Cup will make their cash, both days, and the Rolls Royce’s, Bentley’s, and also, the Mercedes Stretch Limos will be lined up for blocks, waiting to drop off their owners, so that they can drop a few million on their favorite horses.
As for the actual races, here a a few horses that the experts are supporting:
THE BC CLASSIC
1. Summer Bird appears to be having excellent works.
2. Mine That Bird worked 5 furlongs in 58.20, which equaled the fastest work in that distance.
3. Zenyatta, if she runs, might just break the boys hearts.
4. Bullsbay Trainer, says he’s one workout away from going to the big dance.
They are also talking about Awesome Gem, and Gio Ponti.
