Chauncey Billups led the way for the United States Team USA, and continues to show signs of brilliance as they tour the world of basketball, and in essence, put on a Global Basketball Clinic. Kevin Durant scored 17 points, Rudy Gay scored 17 points, Eric Gordon scored 17 points, with Andre Iguodala grabbing 7 rebounds, Tyson Chandler securing 7 rebounds, and also,  Derrick Rose leading the charge with 7 assists. This team, in this particular contest, resembled the Dream Team, at least in the way they blew the Angola team away. Let’s not get to excited, they have a good coach, but not the Dream Teams Coach. They have a good squad, but not the Dream Teams Hall Of Famers. They must focus on taking advantage of all opportunities, and not underestimating their opponents.
Mike Krzyzewski, the Head Coach stated that the team was sharp, focused, and determined during the contest in it’s entirety. Nate McMillan, the Team USA Assistant Coach, states that it was a different challenge during this contest, and also noted that their premier player wasn’t apart of the opponents team.
