The United States finally falls to Japan, after 5 straight wins of the world series, and it took 7 different pitchers from Japan to hold the United States team to 1 run. It was a great defensive strategy by Japan by utilizing their deep bench, and not playing conservative with this world series at stake. The United States couldn’t get past the excellent pitching, and the outstanding focus of Japan. The new champions were definitely deliberate in the quest to take the reigns away from the United States team. Prior to their departure, the Japanese Team took the time to retrieve dirt to take back as a memento for their overwhelming victory.
