The Montreal Canadiens have overwhelmed the Hockey world with upsets over the the power house teams of the Stanley Cup series, to include a 7th game win over the Pittsburg Penguins to lift their team to the Eastern Conference Finals. The Canadiens, sporting the worst playoff record of the series have been sending their opponents home with stunning comeback efforts that has the Hockey nation in total disbelief. Brian Gionta, and  Mike Cammaleri led their Canadiens with a devastating offensive and defensive  performance for the ages.

The Canadiens, with this win, will play the winner of the game 7  semifinal series between the Boston Bruins and The Philadelphia Flyers. The Flyers won game 6 of their series with the Bruins to force a game 7.
