Ryan Howard has been an outstanding contributor over his entire existence in the Philadephia Phillies organization as  Mr. Clutch, the man who they could count on when the runs were needed, and the game was on the line.  With the Phillies recognizing and reacting, this should solidify their presence this year in the race for the pennant, and to reach the world series and win it this year.
