The Arizona Cardinals Select “THE UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA’S HEISMAN TROPHY WINNER” QUARTERBACK KYLER MURRAY with No. 1 overall pick in 2019 NFL Draft.

The Arizona Cardinals chose University of Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray with the first pick in the National Football League college draft on Thursday night in Nashville, Tennessee, uniting Murray with a coach who many experts say is a perfect fit. Murray was the 2018 Heisman Trophy winner

Murray — a two-sport star at Oklahoma — became the first athlete ever to have been chosen in the top 10 selections of both the NFL and Major League Baseball drafts.

@TheKylerMurray

Kyler Cole Murray (born August 7, 1997) is an American football quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL). He previously played college football for the Texas A&M Aggies and Oklahoma Sooners. He also played as an outfielder for the Oklahoma Sooners baseball team. He was the 2014 Gatorade Football Player of the Year as a senior in high school, and 2018 Associated Press Player of the Year as a college senior at Oklahoma. Murray was the recipient of the 2018 Heisman Trophy.

The Oakland Athletics selected Murray with the ninth overall selection in the 2018 MLB draft. Following his Heisman Trophy-winning 2018 season at Oklahoma, he declared his intentions to enter the 2019 NFL Draft. He was selected first overall by the Cardinals.

Murray was born in Bedford, Texas, to Kevin Murray and Misun Henderson.  He attended Allen High School in Allen, Texas.  As a senior in 2014, he was the Gatorade Football Player of the Year. His team won three straight state championships and 43 games in a row. He missed one start during this streak and finished his career with a perfect 42–0 record as a starting quarterback.

Murray was ranked by ESPN, Scout.com, and 247Sports as a five-star recruit and the best dual-threat quarterback in his class. In May 2014, he committed to Texas A&M University to play college football and college baseballHe officially signed with them on February 4, 2015.

Oakland Raiders 1st round NFL draft pick, and 4th PICK.

At a Coaches 4 Character event at Relentless Church in Greenville, SC, March 12, 2019, former Clemson football star Clelin Ferrell says he’s active in the “workplace.”

@Cle_Missile

Clemson defensive end Clelin Ferrell was selected by the Oakland Raiders in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Ferrell, who accumulated 50 tackles for loss in only three seasons at Clemson to rank sixth on the career leaders list in that category, will watch the draft unfold from home, surrounded by family and friends and ESPN cameras as well.

Here are a few facts about the Richmond, Virginia, native.

How do you pronounce Clelin Ferrell’s name?

Ferrell was too polite to correct the media throughout much of his career, but the true pronunciations of both Clelin and Ferrell came to light during the NFL Combine.

Let’s make it official: CLEE-lihn FUR-uhl

Not surprisingly, Ferrell in January was named recipient of the inaugural Tim Bourret Award, which recognizes the Clemson football player who best represents himself, his teammates and Clemson University in the media. Voting on the award was split into thirds, with one-third of the vote belonging to local media, one-third to the Sports Information staff and one-third belonging to Coach Dabo Swinney.

DWAYNE HASKINS, IS THE 2019 NO.15 NFL PICK, THE NO.2 RATED QUARTERBACK IN THE 2019 NFL DRAFT, BEHIND KYKER MURRAY, AND IS THE PERFECT CHOICE TO BE THE FRANCHISE QUARTERBACK FOR THE WASHINGTON REDSKINS.

@dh_simba7

Dwayne Haskins Jr. (born May 3, 1997) is an American football quarterback for the Washington Redskins of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Ohio State University.

Haskins grew up in Highland Park, New Jersey and moved to Maryland when he was in ninth grade. He attended the Bullis School in Potomac, Maryland. During his career, he passed for 5,308 yards and 54 touchdowns. He originally committed to the University of Maryland to play college football but changed to Ohio State.

College career

Haskins redshirted his first year at Ohio State in 2016. In 2017, he was the backup to J.T. Barrett. He finished the season completing 40 of 57 passes for 565 yards and four touchdowns. Entering 2018, Haskins was considered the favorite to replace the departing Barrett as the team’s starting quarterback after Joe Burrow transferred.

In his lone season as a starter, the 6-3, 231-pound Haskins, who went to high school in Potomac, Maryland, set Big Ten records with 4,381 passing yards and 50 touchdown throws.

Haskins went on to have a record-setting campaign in his Sophomore season. He claimed the single season passing and touchdown records for Ohio State and the Big Ten by eclipsing the 4,000-passing yards mark and throwing more than 40 touchdowns. Additionally, he claimed school records in total offense in a season (4,100+ yards), total offensive yards in a game (477) and total passing yards in a game (470). In all 12 of his 2018 regular season games, he threw for more than 225 passing yards, including eight games of more than 300 yards and four games of more than 400.

He threw for 499 yards and 5 touchdowns in a 45-24 win over Northwestern in the 2018 Big Ten championship at Lucas Oil Stadium.

His 2018 performance earned him six Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week awards, First team All–Big Ten honors, the Griese–Brees Quarterback of the Year award, Graham–George Offensive Player of the Year. He was also named as a semifinalist for the Maxwell Award and was one of three finalists for the Heisman Trophy. He is one of 6 players to achieve 50 passing touchdowns in one season. On January 7th, 2019, Haskins announced that we would forgo his remaining two years of eligibility and enter the 2019 NFL Draft.

“No adversity will ever break me,” Haskins told USA TODAY Sports over the weekend. “When you play quarterback, you have to have tough skin. The biggest thing I’ve learned – I knew it before this process – is that there are a lot of outside distractions. You just have to keep your focus.”
