Pacquaio started slow, but he upped his game in the 2nd and dropped Cotto in the 3rd with a right.  Pacquaio continued his pace in the 4th by landing a left hook, which send Cotto sprawling across the center of the ring. Cotto wasn’t the same after that. Cotto wasn’t only beaten, but he was visibility a beaten man, with bleeding, cuts, and swelling. His wife and son left after the 9th, they couldn’t watch the beating any longer.
Pacquaio made history by becoming the 1st fighter to win 7 titles in different weight classes.
