HE WAS EDITOR AND PUBLISHER OF RING MAGAZINE FROM 1979 THRU 1983.\u00a0 HE ALSO EDITED OTHER PUBLICATIONS, INCLUDING, RETURNING TO THE EDITING DESK FOR BOXING ILLUSTRATED IN 1998. BERT SUGAR WAS A BOXING HISTORIAN, WRITING IN EXCESS OF 79 BOOKS OVER HIS CAREER, AND ALSO COVERED THE SPORT OF BASEBALL, AND MANY OTHERS.\u00a0 BERT ALSO APPEARED IN SEVERAL BOXING FILMS DURING HIS CAREER. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>MYBOYSAY WORLD BOXING ENTHUSIASTS WOULD LIKE TO THANK BERT RANDOLPH SUGAR FOR ALL OF HIS CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE WORLD OF SPORTS.
