It was the\u00a0longest semi-final womens match.\u00a0\u00a0This was a quality match with\u00a0hard hitting\u00a0 & drama.\u00a0\u00a0 I was sitting on the edge of my seat.\u00a0 Dementieva won the 1st set\u00a07-6.\u00a0 The second set continued with\u00a0the same intensity, the score was tied at 5 then Serena broke Elena’s serve, she\u00a0went on to win the 2nd set 7-5.\u00a0 Watching the match you thought you had seen it all but believe it or not the intensity went up another notch.\u00a0 Serena lost her serve the 4th game of the 3rd set, the score\u00a0was 3-1 Dementieva, Serena broke back, then won her serve, the game is back on serve 3-3.\u00a0 Dementieva broke back now it’s 5-4 Dementieva is serving for the match, Serena holds on and breaks back, then holds serve, it now 5-5.\u00a0 Elena holds serve it’s 6-5.\u00a0 Serena is serving for the tiebreaker.\u00a0 In the tiebreaker Serena broke Elena’s serve\u00a0 then serves for the match winning the final set 8-6.\u00a0 What a match, 45 winners and 20 aces.\u00a0 Serena is in Wimbledon Final.<\/p>\n
