No quarterback under the age of 25 has won more than 30 games in the past two decades.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;That&#8217;s the biggest one,&#8221; Ravens coach John Harbaugh said of the record. &#8220;I promise you, that&#8217;s the one Lamar is the most proud of and that&#8217;s one we&#8217;re all most proud of, absolutely.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>It&#8217;s been quite a turnaround for Baltimore under Jackson. The Ravens were 44-45 (.494) between winning the Super Bowl in 2012 and Jackson taking over as the starter midway through the 2018 season. Baltimore has won 81% of its games with Jackson as its starter.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>This record comes six days after Jackson became first player in NFL history with 400 yards passing, four touchdown passes, no interceptions and 50 yards rushing in Baltimore&#8217;s 31-25 overtime victory against the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/team\/_\/name\/ind\/indianapolis-colts\">Indianapolis Colts<\/a> on Monday night.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Asked if records mean anything to him, Jackson said, &#8220;We are on a roll for something else. If we break records, it happens. Jackson, now the starting QB of the Baltimore Ravens, will have his number retired during a ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 13, when the Cardinals host <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbssports.com\/college-football\/teams\/CUSE\/syracuse-orange\/\">Syracuse<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Jackson was surprised with the news by his alma mater this week, who revealed the honor to him as he sat down for what he was led to believe was a meeting with reporters for a standard interview.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;I can&#8217;t believe that. Jackson set or tied 42 different Louisville records during his time with the team and won both ACC Player of the Year and ACC Offensive Player of the Year honors back-to-back in 2016 and 2017. Jackson went on to be chosen by the Ravens with the No. 32 overall pick in the 2018 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbssports.com\/nfl\/draft\" data-is-autolink=\"true\">NFL Draft<\/a>, and has since earned <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbssports.com\/nfl\" data-is-autolink=\"true\">NFL<\/a> MVP honors in 2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;We couldn&#8217;t ask for a better representative of our football program. He remains the only player in FBS history to rush for at least 1,500 yards and pass for at least 3,500 yards in a season &#8212; and he did it in both 2016 and 2017.
