Instances such as his dedication to table tennis for 6 weeks just to beat a friend of his at the game or the time when he invited Charles Barkley to the golf course prior to the 1993 NBA Finals just to sniff out any weaknesses are what make MJ, MJ.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A couple years ago, Byron Scott took to the Dan Patrick Show to talk about a variety of topics ranging from his stint with the Los Angeles Lakers as a player and then later a coach. Michael Jordan had no interest in letting\u00a0these\u00a0younger Lakers get off\u00a0scott-free.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Michael Jordan said he\u2019d drop fight on Anthony Peeler and kept his word.\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Prior to a game between the Chicago Bulls and the Los Angeles Lakers in November of 1992, Michael Jordan learned that Byron Scott would not be suiting up that night. This was due to an ankle sprain he had sustained a couple days earlier. According to Scott, this is how the conversation went as he relayed it <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/zpt7rUVN98k\">on the Dan Patrick Show<\/a> in 2016.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cMJ says, \u2018B-Scott, what\u2019s going on? I hear you\u2019re not playing tonight?\u2019 I said, \u2018No, I sprained my ankle.\u2019 He asked, \u2018Who\u2019s guarding me tonight?\u2019 I said: Anthony Peeler. He laughed and simply said, \u201850\u2019. So, I told Anthony Peeler, \u2018Listen, Jordan\u2019s probably going for 50 tonight, just don\u2019t piss him off, just be cool. He ended up with 54.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Byron Scott\u2019s mentality when it came to guarding Michael Jordan was to never piss him off. He claimed to have never tried to trash talk Jordan because if he did, he knew it would light a fire within the 6x champ and would lead to an easy 40 or 50-bomb.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Anthony Peeler wouldn\u2019t have the best of luck when guarding Michael Jordan throughout his career. Following his\u00a054 point\u00a0explosion in 1992, he would drop 41, 36, 35, 29, and 28 in the\u00a0remaining\u00a05 game he played against him in his career. In 2017, the <a title=\"University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/University_of_North_Carolina_at_Chapel_Hill\">University of North Carolina<\/a> announced that their football program will be wearing uniforms with Jordan Jumpman logo. On December 6, 2017, the <a title=\"University of Florida\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/University_of_Florida\">University of Florida<\/a> announced that the <a title=\"Florida Gators\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Florida_Gators\">Florida Gators<\/a> football program would join the three other universities in using the Jordan brand and Jumpman logo for its athletic gear.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Nike became the official supplier of all <a title=\"National Basketball Association\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/National_Basketball_Association\">National Basketball Association<\/a> (NBA) uniforms beginning with the 2017\u201318 season, and these jerseys have the Nike logo. UCLA men\u2019s basketball has more NCAA National Championships (11) than any other college program.
