THE GOAT OF THE NBA, MERGES WITH AMERICAS TEAM QUARTERBACK, OF THE NFL."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/team\/_\/name\/dal\/dallas-cowboys\">Dallas Cowboys<\/a> quarterback <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/2577417\/dak-prescott\">Dak Prescott<\/a> is leaving the apparel company Adidas and signing a five-year agreement with the Jordan Brand.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-12275\" src=\"https:\/\/myboysay.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Dak-Prescott-300x190.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"190\" srcset=\"https:\/\/myboysay.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Dak-Prescott-300x190.jpg 300w, https:\/\/myboysay.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Dak-Prescott.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Prescott will be the only Jordan Brand quarterback, the only Cowboys player and the highest-paid NFL player on the signature line&#8217;s roster.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Prescott&#8217;s deal was negotiated by his marketing agent Peter Miller of JABEZ Marketing Group and the Jordan Brand team.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Cowboys and Prescott <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/31029457\/dallas-cowboys-agree-new-contract-qb-dak-prescott\">agreed to a four-year, $160-million contract<\/a>, including $126 million guaranteed, in March.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Prescott had been with Adidas since his Pro Bowl rookie season with the Cowboys in 2016. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/college-football\/team\/_\/id\/344\/mississippi-state-bulldogs\">Mississippi State<\/a>, where Prescott played in college, was an Adidas school when he was there.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Earlier this offseason, Prescott became a spokesman for Anheuser-Busch InBev. It\u2019s reportedly a five-year deal.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>During Prescott\u2019s protracted negotiations with the team, it often was suggested that Prescott should take less because of the extra money he can make in marketing. Prescott held firm, and he\u2019s reaping the benefits of both the football deal and the off-field earning opportunities.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Prescott suffered a serious ankle injury during Week Five of the 2020 season, but he has suffered no financial impact because of it. 20-0 and 29-10 on Sunday, then were still nine points behind by the time Atlanta punted the ball back to them with just over three minutes remaining.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"block-element__p\"><strong>A touchdown, a recovered onside kick and a field goal gave the Cowboys the most unlikely of 40-39 victories, quarterback Prescott ending the day with 450 yards and one touchdown through the air, having completed 34 of 47 attempts.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"block-element__p\"><strong>He added three rushing touchdowns after earlier being responsible for one of the team&#8217;s three fumbles, with Ryan seeing Prescott&#8217;s clutch play in the closing stages as similar to NBA great Jordan in his prime.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"block-element__p\"><strong>Ryan also feels the victory, which moved the Cowboys to 1-1, will help Prescott to get the recognition he has not always received amid a high-profile contract
