In addition, KAI 11 Consulting is partnering with Michael Loeb, Bonin Bough, and Marcus Glover Co-Founders of Lockstep Ventures, to provide resources that lessen the financial gap divide in various communities.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\u201cWe must give our people the proper resources and stewardship for them to win beyond traditional investment vehicles,\u201d said Irving. \u201cThis is not only essential to closing the wealth gap, but it also fosters a more unified, empowered, and liberated society.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The launch of KAI 11 Consulting, Irving said, is just the first step in a comprehensive plan for the KAI 11 family of companies to work with minority, woman-owned, and underrepresented businesses on a variety of initiatives. That\u2019s what I was trying to be like. There\u2019s no category for that.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Caris LeVert who of course played with Irving had an even more succinct description of Irving when asked last week, \u201cI mean, for me, if we\u2019re talking just skill, I would say Kyrie\u2019s the most skilled player of all time.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>For Mazzeo, it all comes down to his ability to finish. It\u2019s so extraordinary &#8230; and so practiced.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cWe see him working on those (circus, lefty) shots in practice and on his own, so there is no surprise that he\u2019s comfortable taking and making them in a game,\u201d Sean Marks says. \u201cOften you see elite players constantly challenging themselves to be able to take their games to another level, and that would include pushing boundaries in their shot-making abilities.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>There\u2019s also the history of how Irving got to the level he\u2019s at. There were a lot of candidates to work through, but Mazzeo writes that after talking to a number of people close to the 10-year vet, the man most responsible for Irving\u2019s skillset is close to home. Very close.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cKyrie is a special talent,\u201d says Phil Handy, an assistant coach Cavaliers when they won it all. \u201cHis dad (Drederick Irving) was a big influence on skill growing up. He always worked on his off hand to be equally good at finishing at the rim. Even back to my Cleveland days we spent a lot of time on his left-hand finishes.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Kevin Boyle, Irving\u2019s high school coach, adds another element to the discussion, that Irving is the master below the rim like only one other NBA player.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>That\u2019s what separates Kyrie and Stephen Curry,\u201d said Boyle. \u201cThey both dominate without dunking.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Indeed, when Irving dunks, it\u2019s a big deal. He\u2019s only done it three times this season. What he has been doing is showing a full repertoire. With four games left, the 50\/40\/90 Watch is on. At this point, Irving is a few good 3-pointers away from the standard of shooting excellence that only eight players have reached.
