The Jordan Brand has added two more NBA<\/a> players to its roster, with Bradley Beal<\/a> of the Washington Wizards and Caris LeVert of the Brooklyn Nets signing endorsement contracts.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Per\u00a0AirJordan.com<\/a>, LeVert’s first pair of Air Jordans were the\u00a0Air Jordan XIs that he bought during his time as a college player at Michigan.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Both players signed their endorsement deals after posting the best individual season of their respective careers. Beal finished second in the NBA with 30.5 points per game and averaged a career-high 6.1 assists for the Wizards in 2019-20.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

LeVert ranked third on the Nets with 18.7 points per game, with a 36.4 three-point percentage in 45 games.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jordan sneakers were introduced in 1984 during Michael Jordan’s rookie season with the Chicago Bulls. The brand has since become one of the most iconic in all sports apparel, with superstar athletes like Luca Doncic, Zion Williamson and Chris Paul signed to deals.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Beal has been a member of the main Nike family, so switching to the Jordan Brand won’t be much of an adjustment for the two-time All-Star.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“When you see the Jumpman logo, you know what it represents. There are only a select few who get selected by MJ, and that speaks volumes,” Beal continued. “The brand represents a super confident, killer mentality. That\u2019s what it is.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Beal, 27, is the fourth Jordan Brand athlete on this Wizards roster —\u00a0he joins Moe Wagner, Rui Hachimura, and Russell Westbrook.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“We were talking about it at training camp. It was Russ\u2019 [Westbrook] first day, and we looked around the locker room like, ‘We got four Jordan guys.’\u00a0Russ was like, ‘Dang, that might be the most in the league.’\u00a0That\u2019s pretty dope,” Beal said. “I know Russ is a fashion wiz, and he probably has every pair of Js imaginable. Same thing with Rui [Hachimura] and Mo [Wagner], so I got some catching up to do. But I got some heat in my arsenal, too.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wizards sharpshooter, Davis Bertans commented on Beal’s announcement clamoring for Beal to share some Jordan’s with him because another Jordan Brand athlete on the roster hasn’t done it yet.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In another indication of Caris LeVert\u2019s rising star, the Nets guard has signed an endorsement deal with Jordan Brand, joining the Jumpman23 family. LeVert\u2019s deal was announced along with one with the Wizards\u2019 Bradley Beal.<\/strong> \"\" <\/span> <\/span>\u201cNot everyone gets to be a Jordan athlete, so that speaks to the type of people who are selected to be a part of this family,\u201dLeVert stated. \u201cIt started with MJ, who is the greatest player of all time. The Nets star spoke about the history of Jordan and how the athletes representing the brand have always stood out to him. Now, he joins the Jordan family ready to make his own mark.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m a fan of a lot of current player\u2019s games,\u201d LeVert said. \u201cI played in college with Tim Hardaway Jr., so I know him very well. I\u2019m teammates with Jeff Green now. Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul are great players, and Jayson Tatum is emerging as a superstar right now.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cAcross other sports, Randy Moss was one of my favorite athletes growing up, because I used to play receiver. And then there\u2019s Derek Jeter, because we have that Michigan connection. I\u2019ve been paying attention to the brand for a long time.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

LeVert, despite being troubled by injuries, had a breakout season in 2019-2020, ending the season with a 25\/7\/5 stretch in the Orlando \u201cbubble.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Caris Coleman LeVert is an American professional basketball player for the Brooklyn Nets <\/a> of the National Basketball Association<\/a> (NBA). He played college basketball for the Michigan Wolverines<\/a>.
