Cousins then joined the Golden State Warriors the subsequent summer, but he suffered a torn left quadriceps early in his first postseason with that organization. His return to the rotation couldn&#8217;t prevent Golden State from falling to the Toronto Raptors in the NBA Finals.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cousins signed with the Los Angeles Lakers in July 2019, but his tenure with that club ended before it started when he tore his ACL in August. Los Angeles waived Cousins this past February, and he did not take part in the summer NBA resumption held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex amid the coronavirus pandemic.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cousins joins an unsettled situation in Houston, as it&#8217;s rumored that superstar guards Russell Westbrook and James Harden could push to be traded before the upcoming season begins on Dec. 22.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><i>WHO IS DEMARCUS COUSINS<\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>DeMarcus Amir Cousins is an American professional <a title=\"Basketball\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Basketball\">basketball<\/a> player . Nicknamed &#8220;Boogie&#8221;, he played <a title=\"College basketball\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/College_basketball\">college basketball<\/a> for the <a title=\"Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Kentucky_Wildcats_men%27s_basketball\">Kentucky Wildcats<\/a>, where he was an <a title=\"NCAA Men's Basketball All-Americans\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/NCAA_Men%27s_Basketball_All-Americans\">All-American<\/a> in 2010. He left Kentucky after one season, and was selected with the fifth overall pick in the <a title=\"2010 NBA draft\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/2010_NBA_draft\">2010 NBA draft<\/a> by the <a title=\"Sacramento Kings\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sacramento_Kings\">Sacramento Kings<\/a>. In his first season with the Kings, Cousins was named to the <a class=\"mw-redirect\" title=\"NBA All-Rookie First Team\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/NBA_All-Rookie_First_Team\">NBA All-Rookie First Team<\/a>, and from 2015 to 2018, he was named an <a class=\"mw-redirect\" title=\"NBA All-Star\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/NBA_All-Star\">NBA All-Star<\/a>.
