The two have already had a coach-quarterback relationship, as Deion had been Shedeur&#8217;s offensive coordinator in high school.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sanders received an offer just days after his father, NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, accepted the Tigers&#8217; head coaching position. &#8220;Prime Time&#8221; served as his son&#8217;s offensive coordinator in high school.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The 6-foot-2, 200-pound quarterback, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/college-sports\/football\/recruiting\/playerrankings\/_\/class\/2021\/order\/true\">No. 60 overall recruit<\/a>, from Trinity Christian School in Cedar Hill, Texas, made that decision official Friday and is now the highest-ranked prospect Jackson State has ever had and the only ESPN 300 prospect to commit to the HBCU.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sanders is currently the No. 14-rated pro-style quarterback in the 2021 recruiting class, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/Player\/Shedeur-Sanders-46042823\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-id=\"75\" data-m=\"{&quot;i&quot;:75,&quot;p&quot;:63,&quot;n&quot;:&quot;partnerLink&quot;,&quot;y&quot;:24,&quot;o&quot;:12}\">247Sports<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The young signal-caller currently plays for Trinity Christian in Cedar Hill, Texas.
