In the same very short time, the receiver for whom Dallas gave up a first-round draft pick to get has transformed himself into a quote machine.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"ProfileHeaderCard-screenname u-inlineBlock u-dir\" dir=\"ltr\"><a class=\"ProfileHeaderCard-screennameLink u-linkComplex js-nav\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AmariCooper9\"> <span class=\"username u-dir\" dir=\"ltr\">@<b class=\"u-linkComplex-target\">AmariCooper9<\/b><\/span> <\/a><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Well, OK, maybe not completely. But after his explosive performance in the 31-23 win over the Redskins, the usually soft-spoken Cooper said a Thanksgiving mouthful.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cI don\u2019t want to prove the Raiders wrong,\u201d Cooper said of the team that dealt him away while surrounded by a media horde in the winning locker room here at AT&amp;T Stadium. \u201cI just want to prove the Cowboys right.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cowboys players, coaches and fans were praising Amari Cooper after his big game in a 31-23 win against the Redskins on Thanksgiving.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>And team owner Jerry Jones was loving it, too. The Cowboys acquired Cooper from the Raiders last month to provide the vertical threat the team has been missing this year, and the 24-year-old wide receiver broke out against Washington. He caught eight passes for 180 yards and two touchdowns, including a spectacular 90-yard score that electrified the home crowd.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Afterward, <a href=\"https:\/\/sportsday.dallasnews.com\/dallas-cowboys\/cowboys\/2018\/11\/22\/amari-cooper-cowboys-flipped-script-entire-season-one-monstrous-quarter-vs-washington\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-id=\"120\" data-m=\"{&quot;i&quot;:120,&quot;p&quot;:60,&quot;n&quot;:&quot;partnerLink&quot;,&quot;y&quot;:24,&quot;o&quot;:3}\">Jones told reporters<\/a>, &#8220;Amari looks like he&#8217;s making a bid for his cash.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>More than a reference to Cooper&#8217;s 2019 salary ($13.9 million), Jones seemed to be alluding to the prospect of a long-term extension for the wide receiver. Quarterback Dak Prescott and running back Ezekiel Elliott were definitely happy with Cooper&#8217;s contributions against the Redskins.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-16553\" src=\"https:\/\/myboysay.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/amari-c-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/myboysay.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/amari-c-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/myboysay.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/amari-c.jpg 656w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Jones did not discourage that talk when asked about it.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;They&#8217;ve got it going,&#8221; Jones said (via the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jonmachota\/status\/1065797513888837632\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-id=\"151\" data-m=\"{&quot;i&quot;:151,&quot;p&quot;:60,&quot;n&quot;:&quot;partnerLink&quot;,&quot;y&quot;:24,&quot;o&quot;:34}\">Dallas News<\/a>). &#8220;They have a good rapport. He&#8217;s found his home.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;It takes a lot of attention off me. And I love it,&#8221; Elliott said. &#8220;It&#8217;s definitely going to loosen up that box. Hey, I&#8217;m happy we got him.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"player\">\n<p><strong>The Cowboys&#8217; big offensive showing by Prescott, Elliott and Cooper drew an inevitable comparison to the Cowboys&#8217; &#8220;Triplets,&#8221; QB Troy Aikman, running back Emmitt Smith and wide receiver Michael Irvin, from the 1990s Super Bowl championship teams.Consider it done. Cooper had eight catches for 180 yards and two touchdowns for the 6-5 Cowboys, who now sit atop the NFC East and control their own playoff destiny. For the Cowboys, Amari&#8217;s route-running ability and yards after catch skills allowed him to put on a show that made him an in the air equal of ground eating running back <a href=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/Player\/Ezekiel-Elliott-15623\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ezekiel Elliott<\/a>, who had 121 rushing yards and two more TDs.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"ProfileHeaderCard-screenname u-inlineBlock u-dir\" dir=\"ltr\"><a class=\"ProfileHeaderCard-screennameLink u-linkComplex js-nav\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/dallascowboys\"> <span class=\"username u-dir\" dir=\"ltr\">@<b class=\"u-linkComplex-target\">dallascowboys<\/b><\/span> <\/a><\/h2>\n<p><strong>\u201cJack Del Rio told me before we made the trade, he said, \u2018Just look at the Kansas City film a year ago,&#8217;\u201d Cowboys owner <a href=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/Coach\/Jerry-Jones-3622\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jerry Jones<\/a> said, referencing the former Cowboys player and former Raiders head coach. \u201cWe just said to hell with it. We\u2019re not going to do anything but throw him the ball. Just look at that, and that will show you what Amari is like. And so this (game) kind of reminded me a little of what (Del Rio) was trying to say.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cooper had 210 yards and two touchdowns on 11 catches for the Oakland Raiders against the Kansas City Chiefs back on Oct. 10, 2017. It&#8217;s the sort of thing the former Alabama Crimson Tide did plenty of as a first-round pick of Oakland as he made two Pro Bowls and notched two 1,000-yard seasons in the first three years of his career.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fast forward to now, and in his four games as a member of the Cowboys, he&#8217;s got 22 catches for 349 yards and three scores. He&#8217;s averaging 16 yards per catch and has three receptions for 20-yards plus &#8212; including, of course, the 40-yard score and the 90-yard score.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-16554\" src=\"https:\/\/myboysay.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Ezekiel-Elliott-and-Amari-Cooper-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/myboysay.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Ezekiel-Elliott-and-Amari-Cooper-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/myboysay.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Ezekiel-Elliott-and-Amari-Cooper-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/myboysay.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Ezekiel-Elliott-and-Amari-Cooper-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/myboysay.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Ezekiel-Elliott-and-Amari-Cooper-1080x607.jpg 1080w, https:\/\/myboysay.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Ezekiel-Elliott-and-Amari-Cooper.jpg 1890w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>&#8220;I think tonight speaks on how I&#8217;ve been saying that he makes this whole transition easy,&#8221; Prescott said. &#8220;The elite player he is. He gets space and he creates space himself with the route running that he has. He did that and then he went and got a lot of yards after the catch. That&#8217;s what big-time receivers do.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Not only was it the longest catch of Cooper&#8217;s career, <\/strong>it was<strong> the longest pass play in the NFL this season, the longest pass of Prescott&#8217;s career and the longest by a Cowboy since Troy Aikman hit Jason Tucker with a 90-yarder on Jan. 2, 2000.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Hall of Famer Bob Hayes has the longest touchdown catch by a Cowboy: 95 yards from Don Meredith in 1966. In 1978, Tony Dorsett had a 91-yard touchdown catch from Roger Staubach, and Aikman connected with Alvin Harper for 90 yards against San Francisco in 1994.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cooper and Prescott have quickly become a strong connection. In Prescott&#8217;s first 42 starts, the most yards after the catch he combined with a receiver was 41 yards from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/13215\/dez-bryant\">Dez Bryant<\/a> at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/team\/_\/name\/nyg\/new-york-giants\">New York Giants<\/a> in 2017. Cooper&#8217;s touchdowns had 68 and 35 yards after the catch against the Redskins.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The last time a Cowboys receiver had more than 100 yards after the catch was Miles Austin, who had 150 of his franchise-record 250 yards after the catch in a 2009 win at the Kansas City Chiefs.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;I&#8217;ve just been putting in extra time with my coaches and with Dak,&#8221; Cooper said. &#8220;We sit by each other in the meeting room. We&#8217;re just trying to catch up and be on the same page. For some reason, since I got here the chemistry between me and Dak has been phenomenal.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-16555\" src=\"https:\/\/myboysay.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/a-coop-300x156.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"156\" srcset=\"https:\/\/myboysay.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/a-coop-300x156.jpg 300w, https:\/\/myboysay.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/a-coop-768x399.jpg 768w, https:\/\/myboysay.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/a-coop.jpg 920w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Since the Cowboys acquired Cooper, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/3051392\/ezekiel-elliott\">Ezekiel Elliott<\/a> has had three 100-yard rushing games, including 121 yards against Washington, and Prescott has completed at least 67.7 percent of his passes after not completing better than 65.5 percent of his snaps in the first seven games.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Maybe more importantly, the Cowboys have found a winning formula since trading for Cooper that has them in first place in the division.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;They say if you want to be a good team you have to really start rolling in November,&#8221; Cooper said. &#8220;We&#8217;ve just been focused, man. We&#8217;ve been standing tall with our backs against the wall, relentless. Hopefully we can keep this up.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Amari Cooper is an <a title=\"American football\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/American_football\">American football<\/a> <a title=\"Wide receiver\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Wide_receiver\">wide receiver<\/a> for the <a title=\"Dallas Cowboys\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Dallas_Cowboys\">Dallas Cowboys<\/a> of the <a title=\"National Football League\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/National_Football_League\">National Football League<\/a> (NFL). He played <a title=\"College football\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/College_football\">college football<\/a> at the <a title=\"Alabama Crimson Tide football\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Alabama_Crimson_Tide_football\">University of Alabama<\/a> where he was the <a class=\"mw-redirect\" title=\"Biletnikoff Award\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Biletnikoff_Award\">Biletnikoff Award<\/a> winner as the nation&#8217;s top receiver and a unanimous <a class=\"mw-redirect\" title=\"All-American\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/All-American\">All-American<\/a> in 2014. Widely considered the top wide receiver prospect of the <a title=\"2015 NFL Draft\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/2015_NFL_Draft\">2015 NFL Draft<\/a>, he was selected with the fourth overall pick by the <a title=\"Oakland Raiders\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Oakland_Raiders\">Oakland Raiders<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cooper attended <a title=\"Miami Northwestern Senior High School\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Miami_Northwestern_Senior_High_School\">Miami Northwestern Senior High School<\/a> in <a class=\"mw-redirect\" title=\"Miami, Florida\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Miami,_Florida\">Miami, Florida<\/a>. <sup id=\"cite_ref-1\" class=\"reference\"><\/sup> As a junior, he missed much of the season with an injury but still managed to be one of quarterback <a title=\"Teddy Bridgewater\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Teddy_Bridgewater\">Teddy Bridgewater<\/a>&#8216;s primary targets and had 16 catches for 175 yards with four scores. Cooper was dominant on the 7-on-7 circuit at various college campuses before his senior season. He had a show out performance at Alabama&#8217;s summer camp, and that quickly led to an offer from <a title=\"Nick Saban\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Nick_Saban\">Nick Saban<\/a> and the Crimson Tide. In his final year, he hauled in 33 receptions for 722 yards and 6 <a class=\"mw-redirect\" title=\"Touchdowns\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Touchdowns\">touchdowns<\/a>. He was a <\/strong>first team<strong> <a title=\"Florida High School Athletic Association\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Florida_High_School_Athletic_Association\">FHSAA<\/a> 8A All-State selection, as well as the No. 4 player on <a class=\"mw-redirect\" title=\"The Orlando Sentinel\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Orlando_Sentinel\">The Orlando Sentinel<\/a>\u2019s Florida Top 100. He was also invited to play at the <a title=\"Under Armour All-America Game\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Under_Armour_All-America_Game\">2012 Under Armour All-America Game<\/a>, where he had a 75-yard touchdown grab and a 93-yard punt return for a score. In addition to being a standout in football, Cooper also starred in <a class=\"mw-redirect\" title=\"High school basketball\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/High_school_basketball\">basketball<\/a> and <a title=\"Track and field\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Track_and_field\">track<\/a> at Miami Northwestern.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cooper was a consensus four-star prospect. He was listed as the No. 45 in the Rivals100, and was considered the No. 6 <a title=\"Wide receiver\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Wide_receiver\">wide receiver<\/a> and No. 8 player in <a title=\"Florida\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Florida\">Florida<\/a> by <a title=\"Rivals.com\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Rivals.com\">Rivals.com<\/a>.<sup id=\"cite_ref-5\" class=\"reference\"><\/sup> <a title=\"ESPNU\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/ESPNU\">ESPNU<\/a> listed him as the nation&#8217;s No. 7 wideout and No. 46 overall prospect in the ESPNU 150 while ranking 25th in the ESPNU Southeast Top 100 and No. 12 in Florida. He was ranked as the No. 6 wide receiver and the No. 10 player in the state of Florida by <a title=\"247Sports.com\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/247Sports.com\">247Sports.com<\/a>, while ranking him 55th in the Top247. Also, <a title=\"Scout.com\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Scout.com\">Scout.com<\/a> rated him as the No. 12 pass catcher in the nation and 86th overall prospect. He chose Alabama over <a title=\"Florida State Seminoles football\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Florida_State_Seminoles_football\">Florida State<\/a>, <a title=\"Miami Hurricanes football\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Miami_Hurricanes_football\">Miami<\/a>, and <a title=\"Ohio State Buckeyes football\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ohio_State_Buckeyes_football\">Ohio State<\/a>, among others. Cooper announced his verbal commitment to the <a title=\"University of Alabama\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/University_of_Alabama\">University of Alabama<\/a> on September 22, 2011.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>As a freshman at Alabama, Cooper played in all 14 games, including starts in the final nine games. He led the team with 59 receptions for 1,000 yards and 11 <a class=\"mw-redirect\" title=\"Touchdowns\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Touchdowns\">touchdowns<\/a>.<sup id=\"cite_ref-10\" class=\"reference\"><\/sup> The 11 touchdowns broke Alabama&#8217;s 62-year-old record by <a title=\"Al Lary\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Al_Lary\">Al Lary<\/a>. His receptions and receiving yards broke <a title=\"Julio Jones\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Julio_Jones\">Julio Jones<\/a>&#8216;s Alabama freshman records. In the SEC Championship, he had eight receptions for 128 yards and a touchdown in the 32\u201328 victory over <a title=\"2012 Georgia Bulldogs football team\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/2012_Georgia_Bulldogs_football_team\">Georgia<\/a>. In Alabama&#8217;s <a title=\"2013 BCS National Championship Game\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/2013_BCS_National_Championship_Game\">2013 BCS National Championship Game<\/a> 42\u201314 victory over <a title=\"2012 Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/2012_Notre_Dame_Fighting_Irish_football_team\">Notre Dame<\/a>, Cooper led all Alabama receivers with 105 yards and two touchdowns. Cooper earned consensus Freshman <a class=\"mw-redirect\" title=\"All-American\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/All-American\">All-American<\/a> honors and was selected to the <a title=\"Southeastern Conference\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Southeastern_Conference\">SEC<\/a> All-Freshman team by the league coaches.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong><span id=\"Sophomore_season\" class=\"mw-headline\">Sophomore season<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>As a sophomore in 2013, Cooper played in 12 games with seven starts, missing two games due to injury. He had 45 receptions for a team-high 736 yards and four touchdowns.<sup id=\"cite_ref-17\" class=\"reference\"><\/sup> He had his best game of the season against <a title=\"2013 Auburn Tigers football team\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/2013_Auburn_Tigers_football_team\">Auburn<\/a> in the <a title=\"Iron Bowl\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Iron_Bowl\">Iron Bowl<\/a>, recording six receptions for 178 yards, including a <\/strong>school record<strong> 99-yard touchdown reception from quarterback <a title=\"AJ McCarron\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/AJ_McCarron\">AJ McCarron<\/a>. In the <a title=\"2014 Sugar Bowl\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/2014_Sugar_Bowl\">Sugar Bowl<\/a> against <a title=\"2013 Oklahoma Sooners football team\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/2013_Oklahoma_Sooners_football_team\">Oklahoma<\/a>, he had nine receptions for 121 yards in the 45\u201331 loss.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong><span id=\"Junior_season\" class=\"mw-headline\">Junior season<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>As a junior in 2014, Cooper set numerous single-season and career records for Alabama.<sup id=\"cite_ref-20\" class=\"reference\"><\/sup> Against <a title=\"2014 Tennessee Volunteers football team\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/2014_Tennessee_Volunteers_football_team\">Tennessee<\/a>, he broke Alabama&#8217;s <\/strong>single game<strong> receiving yards record, finishing with 224. He later matched the record against <a title=\"2014 Auburn Tigers football team\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/2014_Auburn_Tigers_football_team\">Auburn<\/a>. For the season, Cooper had 124 receptions for 1,727 yards and 16 touchdowns, all school records. In addition, his 124 receptions were an SEC record. He became Alabama&#8217;s all-time leader in receptions (229), receiving yards (3,463), and receiving touchdowns (31). Cooper was a finalist for the <a title=\"Heisman Trophy\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Heisman_Trophy\">Heisman Trophy<\/a>, finishing third behind <a title=\"Marcus Mariota\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Marcus_Mariota\">Marcus Mariota<\/a> and <a title=\"Melvin Gordon\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Melvin_Gordon\">Melvin Gordon<\/a>. He won the <a class=\"mw-redirect\" title=\"Biletnikoff Award\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Biletnikoff_Award\">Biletnikoff Award<\/a> that season and was also named a unanimous <a class=\"mw-redirect\" title=\"All-American\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/All-American\">All-American<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>After his junior season, Cooper entered the <a title=\"2015 NFL Draft\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/2015_NFL_Draft\">2015 NFL Draft<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The <a title=\"Oakland Raiders\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Oakland_Raiders\">Oakland Raiders<\/a> selected Cooper in the first round with the fourth overall pick in the <a title=\"2015 NFL Draft\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/2015_NFL_Draft\">2015 NFL Draft<\/a>. <sup id=\"cite_ref-34\" class=\"reference\"><\/sup>Cooper was initially assigned the jersey number 19, but following the release of fellow receiver <a title=\"James Jones (wide receiver)\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/James_Jones_(wide_receiver)\">James Jones<\/a>, he switched to number 89. Cooper made his NFL debut for the Oakland Raiders on September 13, 2015. His yardage was the most by any NFL player at that point in the 2017 season, the second most in franchise history, and the first 200+ yard game in franchise history since 1965. With his stellar performance in Week 7, Cooper earned AFC Offensive Player of the Week. After a string of games without stellar yardage totals, Cooper finished the 2017 season with 3 receptions for 115 yards and a touchdown in a 30\u201310 loss to the <a title=\"2017 Los Angeles Chargers season\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/2017_Los_Angeles_Chargers_season\">Los Angeles Chargers<\/a>. While it was later revealed that Cooper struggled throughout the latter half of the season from an ankle injury that hampered his play.
