Tiger Jam kicked off Friday morning at the exclusive Shadow Creek Golf Course where guests were treated to breakfast and an exhibition and Q&A session with Tiger Woods. Woods provided insight on everything from his practice schedule and his process for choosing clubs, to his favorite moment in his career. Instagram sensation Joshua Kelley (also known as @holein1trickshots<\/a>) impressed the crowd with a live trick shot performance. Former professional football star and NFL Network host Reggie Bush, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald and Sports Illustrated swimsuit model and golfer Paige Spiranac also joined guests for a memorable day on the bucket-list course.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Following dinner, Earl Woods Scholar recipient, Desiree Sim, took the stage to address the crowd. The Skidmore College rising senior is on track to graduate in Spring 2019 with plans to become a social worker and start a nonprofit to help at-risk youth. Sim shared that the Earl Woods Scholar Program<\/a> gave her the support she needed when she felt that no one else would give her a chance. Next Woods addressed the crowd, first thanking his mother Kultilda Woods who was in attendance. <\/strong><\/p>\n

He also made note that the foundation plans to impact millions both domestically and internationally. The reception wrapped with a thrilling live auction, filled with luxury items such as an Advance Package Acura MDX SH and unforgettable golf experiences at Bluejack National, Diamante Cabo San Lucas and the 2018 Hero World Challenge<\/a> which includes the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to caddie for Tiger Woods during his Pro-Am round at Albany, Bahamas raising $50,000 for TGR Foundation. Eldrick Tont Woods (born December 30, 1975) better known as Tiger Woods, is an American professional golfer<\/a> who is among the most successful golfers of all time. He has been one of the highest-paid athletes<\/a> in the world for several years.<\/sup><\/sup><\/sup><\/strong><\/p>\n

Following an outstanding junior, college, and amateur career, Woods was 20 years old when he turned professional at the end of summer in 1996. By the end of April 1997, he had won three PGA Tour<\/a> events in addition to his first major, the 1997 Masters<\/a>. Woods won this tournament by 12 strokes in a record-breaking performance and earned $486,000. He first reached the number one position<\/a> in the world rankings<\/a> in June 1997, less than a year after turning pro. Throughout the 2000s, Woods was the dominant force in golf\u2014he won the2000 U.S. Open<\/a> by a record 15-shot margin. He was the top-ranked golfer in the world from August 1999 to September 2004 (264 weeks) and again from June 2005 to October 2010 (281 weeks).<\/strong><\/p>\n
