After winning the first three majors of the year, she reached the semifinals of the U.S. Open on the cusp of the first tennis Grand Slam in nearly three decades. \u00a0And also below\u00a0is\u00a0a photo of\u00a0Serbia&#8217;s Novak Djokovic stretches to return the ball to Britain&#8217;s Andy Murray, right, during their semifinal match of the French Open tennis tournament at the Roland Garros stadium in Paris, France.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams have been named ITF World Champions for 2015, after both players won three Grand Slam titles this year.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Djokovic won the Australian Open, Wimbledon and the U.S. Open, amassing a career-best total of 11 titles in 2015 and an 82-6 win-loss record.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Djokovic, who has now won the ITF World Champion title five times, says &#8220;my season was the best of my career.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Williams took the Australian Open, the French Open and Wimbledon, holding all four Grand Slam titles before losing in the U.S. Open semifinals.
