The Head Coach of TEXAS A&M AGGIES, Mr. Kevin Sumlin, suspended his starting quarterback, and courageously decided to put his highly touted freshman quarterback in against the #3 team in the nation, and the results are as usual, Sumlin doing the right thing with the right personnel, as he allowed Kyle Allen to play and he\u00a0 threw\u00a0 for\u00a0 4\u00a0 touchdown passes in the 1st\u00a0 half as Texas A&M created opportunities for themselves by recovering\u00a0 2\u00a0 late fumbles in a\u00a0 tremendous 41-38\u00a0 victory over the No. 3 ranked\u00a0 Auburn on Saturday that likely elevated Texas A&M back into the late season talk, and also ended the Auburn Tigers’ playoff hopes, completely.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Aggies were not successful in their last drive as they attempted to move beyond their goal line prior to punting the ball back to the Auburn Tigers. The Auburn football team drove inside the 30 for one more shot. Their quarterback appeared to be still calling the play when their center made the game losing error, and or, mental collapse, by snapping the ball prior to the quarterback being prepared to take the snap. Texas A&M’s Alonzo Williams<\/a> recovered with 54 seconds left in regulation play, and the Aggies were well on their way back into the AP TOP 25, and should climb at least to the top 15, as a result of conquering the number 3 team in the nation. It’s been a terrible last three weeks for the Texas A&M Aggies, as they dropped\u00a0 3\u00a0 straight SEC contests before regaining their footing in the SEC race by winning this great football contest against the Auburn Tigers. The defending SEC champion\u00a0 Auburn Tigers saw their nation’s longest home winning streak of 14 games.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Texas A&M’s freshman quarterback was prepared by his Head Coach, Kevin Sumlin, to be successful in his second career start and first on the road, as he completed 19 of 29 passes for 277 yards with an interception against the Auburn Tigers defense. Texas A&M’s first two drives were long touchdown passes of 60 yards to Malcome Kennedy and also 36 yards to Josh Reynolds<\/a> for a 14-0 lead over the auburn Tigers. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Myles Garrett blocked a field goal and Deshazor Everett recovered and\u00a0 returned the fumble for 65 yards for a touchdown on the final play of the first half.\u00a0 Cameron Artis-Payne had 30 carries for 221 yards and two touchdowns, and Auburn’s quarterback completed 15 of 21 passes for 219 yards and a touchdown while running 18 times for 67 yards.\u00a0 Unfortunately for the Auburn Tigers, their leading receiver,\u00a0 D’haquille Williams injured his right knee in the second quarter and failed to return to complete the game.<\/strong><\/p>\n
